Artist Statement #1: I chose to do one of my artist statements on the first photo in the left column. I chose this photo to do an artist statement on because it was the one picture that I felt I did the best on the blueprint part of it. The blueprint is very detailed and very intricate. The actual photo (not the blueprint version) was taken downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. The shot shows one of the corners of the building , and how tall it is. it is a really unique shot in my opinion.
Artist Statement: #2: The second choice for my artist statement is the last photo on the let column. This in my opinion is one of the better photos out of all of these. The reason I think this is because it is shot at a really pleasing to the eye angle, and shows the height of the building really effectively. It also shows the detail of the building, especially in the columns of the building to the left and right of the center of the building. The lighting on the photo is also very nice, it is not too dark and not too bright. Although the blueprint is not the best, the original photo more than makes up for it.
